Singer Angeline Quinto continous to be a devotee of the Black Nazarene. The 30 year old Kapamilya participated in this year’s Translacion 2020. She joined millions of devotees during the procession held on Thursday, January 10.
According to her, she started her devotion to the Black Nazarene at a very young age of 8 years old.
“Mga eight years old ako,”Pero iyong sumasampa… pang-anim.”
On her Instagram account, Angeline shared photos of her where she was spotted on the Black Nazarene’s carriage where she was able to get near the image.
“Viva Pit Señor Nazareno.
Maraming Salamat Ama. ??????”
Angeline also participated in last year’s procession. She believes she also received a miracle from the Black Nazarene. The singer had been praying everyday at Quiapo Church when her mother was very sick. She would consistently pray for her wellness and ask for some blessings.
After many singing contests, she finally struck gold and made a name for herself. But, she believed that her mother’s recovery was her biggest blessing from the Black Nazarene.
The singer turned actress’ most memorable procession was in 2013 when she was able to ride along the image’s carrier.
Her devotion is actually so religious, she would rather had a schedule of performance in both Christmas and New Year but not during the feast of the Black Nazarene.
There even became a time that she had a four city concert tour in the US that ran from December until January 11.
Angeline choosed to skip the last leg of the said concert tour to make sure she arrive back by January 8.
