Former Kapuso Singer Lovely Embuscado Is Now Living On The Streets

Former Kapuso talent Lovely Embuscado, one of the finalists in Protégé Season 1, is just living on the streets now with her parents.

Lovely, during her stint in the said talent search on GMA in 2011, she was tagged as the “The Singing Cinderella” from Tagum, Davao. She had the opportunity to be mentored by Queen of Soul Jaya.

She did well in the said competition ending as the second placer behind the champion Krizza Neri.

Once the Protégé Season 1 finished, she went on and signed a contract with GMA Artist Center.

Lovely appeared in several TV shows after the talent search such as Party Pilipinas, and Magpakailanman. Her last known project according to source was the drama series The Half Sisters back in 2014.

But her fame and success for some reason slowly faded away and her fans have not heard from her since until recently.

However, it appeared that the brightness of her star in showbiz just faded away. Entertainment columnist Jojo Gabinete wrote in his article in PEP that Lovely is just living on the streets now with her mother and father.

Her mother, Daisy, shared that they have been living on the streets for a week now. They managed to survive by asking food from a church. She told that their debts eventually caused them to live in the streets.

“Kasi po, nabaon ako sa utang, e, yung income po dati ni Lovely, tama lang po na pambayad sa utang.”

According to Gabinete, he and his companion noticed that Lovely was staring blankly as if she is struggling with misery.

When Lovely was asked if she still wants to go back to showbiz, she just stared at them. Then, here mother asked her to sing but while singing she burst into tears.
