DARNA IS BACK: Angel Locsin Made Her Own Version of Help Amid C0VID-19 Crisis

As the Philippines is facing difficulties right now because of the continuous spread of virus, many are doing their part to help.

After the outbreak started, our front-liners specially doctors, nurses and other medical staffs are restless to fight the virus.


Due to continuous spread of the disease, the president first announced the community quarantine in Metro Manila.

Days after, the case continued to rise so he announced the enhanced community quarantine including the whole Luzon.

Due to the lock-down, all public vehicles are temporarily stopped. Medical workers living outside the Metro Manila had difficulties to travel from their homes to hospitals.

These medical staffs are almost restless because of over hundreds cases.

So actress Angel Locsin made her part helping these heroes. But unlike the others, Angel didn’t ask for money donations from others.

Instead, she called on her showbiz friends to donate for the benefit of all the medical practitioners.


She asked specifically for bedding’s, mattresses, or anything that the medical workers can get a rest.

The actress revealed that they are already setting up sleeping tents for their beneficiaries so that they do not have to go outside their assigned hospital to get a rest.

Angel also took the chance to thanked Angelica Panganiban, Bea Alonzo, and Anne Curtis who donated their taping beds right away.

On her same Instagram post, Angel also asked anyone to spare folding beds for medical front-liners. She also added that they are accepting bottled waters.

At the end of her post, she inspired everyone that we will get through this as we already did during the strong typhoons and volcano eruptions.
